The Penitent
In a small village deep in the woods, there is a priory. The old bell tolls, and a cleric begins her confession of what happened last night.
This is my first ever Visual Novel developed in one week for the Only One of Any Asset (Again!) Jam of 2021. I never developed a Visual Novel before, and it was an incredible learning experience to try to get something working in a short time span!
CONTENT WARNING: the script has adult & mature themes that may not be suitable for everyone, including:

Oh wow that was quite the tale! I'm worried, though, because she seems to make nothing but bad decisions and is now going on to happily continue to make bad decisions and this will probably not end well...
The art is so beautiful! Both background and sprite look so soft and pleasing 👀👌
